Welcome to Safe Sunbather...

.com

This site is dedicated to those who enjoy the sun.....

This site is for:

.... You, if you want to make informed choices about:

why you sunbathe,

how often you do it,

when you do it,

how you do it.

.... You if you want to be knowledgeable about what is happening to your skin and your family's skin when you do sunbathe.

We will show you why sunbathing is good for you ... and when, how and why it can be dangerous.

We will explain odd facts like why you may be more likely to get sunburn if you wear dark glasses than if you don't.

We will explain why sunburn is worse when you have stopped sunbathing.... and much more.

We will do all this in easy to understand language. We will also give you links to the real research underpinning the main points of what we say.

OK so we are Safe Sunbathers.... But can you Sunbathe with absolute safety?

Let's be brutally honest.

Absolutely safe?

No.

Is a safe absolutely safe? If so why do we need vaults?

Safety is a relative term and you can be a lot safer with good practice.

Every time you show your skin to the sun, your body will absorb the sun's rays. This can have both good and bad effects.

We hope the information on this site will be useful to you, to your family and to your friends. If you have any healthy practical tips of your own, please tell us so that we can feature them on our site for everybody's benefit. And do please let us have your feedback.

Global Warming is not going to go away, so let's deal with it positively.
